Topline trainer at Caymanas Park Gary Subratie has expanded his operations with the establishment of a stable at Gulfstream Park in Florida.
His first runner, Sir Banana Brian finished 5th in race 4, a 3 year old and up claiming contest over 5 and a half furlongs on the 12 race card two weeks ago.
Subratie has been conditioning horses for close to three decades and has finished in the top fiver at Caymanas Park for the past 10 years. The experienced trainer originally got his trainer's licence in the United States.
Coincidentally, Subratie's next runner at Gulfstream will be Sir Banana Brian who will take former Jamaican champion jockey Wesley "Callaloo" Henry to the post in the 4th event on Sunday's 9 race programme.
