Guyana calls for CARICOM to strengthen regional integration

Guyana is urging CARICOM countries to implement decisions aimed at deepening the regional integration movement.
 
President Irfaan Ali said there is need for the region to collaborate and create new business prospects.
 
Mr. Ali noted that various individual barriers to trade imposed by member countries were stifling the progress, pointed to the region importing three times more than it is exporting.
