Main Event Entertainment Group reported an increase in net profit for its financial year ended October 31, 2023.
The company made $207 million after tax, 37 per cent more than the $151 million made the previous year.
Main Event also realized its highest revenue in the year, reaching $1.92 billion; that's 24 per cent more than the $1.5 billion recorded in 2022 and above the 2019 record of $1.8 billion.
The company says the increased revenue was driven by new ventures undertaken during the year.
Main Event says it pivoted to pursue revenues from non-traditional sources, which resulted in growth in its M Style, Audio & Film and Entertainment segments.
