Sagicor Bank Jamaica says it is investing in technology at its branches across the country, to help improve user experience.
The bank officially opened a new branch at New Brunswick Village in Spanish Town on Tuesday.
CEO of Sagicor Group Jamaica Christopher Zacca says the new location will represent a good mix of the hybrid approach to banking.
"The bank is now equipped with self-service kiosks, where you can digitally begin transactions and complete most of your onboarding. And this will significantly reduce in-branch wait times. You'll see our intelligent automated bank machines, not ABMs anymore, IABMs. It's gonna blow your brain because we're revolutionising the banking landscape, making transactions easier, faster, and more accessible than ever before," he said.
According to Mr. Zacca, these steps underscore the bank's dedication to providing its clients with solutions that cater to their evolving needs in a digital world.
Sagicor has invested about $6 billion in the New Brunswick development, which includes 40 commercial spaces and more than 80 residential offerings.
