Tropical battery secures US trademark approvals

Tropical Battery Company has reached a major milestone in its international expansion efforts with the granting of official trademark approvals from the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

The company says this achievement paves the way for it to sell its branded products directly on Amazon's US platform, significantly broadening its reach.

The trademarks, finalised on November 19, 2024, cover key product categories such as solar panels, batteries, automotive oils, and coolants.

Although the company established its Amazon account over a year ago, operations were deliberately delayed to meet the platform's stringent requirements, including securing these critical trademark approvals.

Chief Marketing Officer and head of Sales and Marketing at Tropical Battery, David Walton, described the timing as perfect.

He said selling directly on Amazon will enhance the company's visibility, accessibility, and customer credibility, creating new growth opportunities.

Rose Batteries, acquired by Tropical Battery, specialises in custom battery packs for applications such as utility grid solutions, industrial systems, medical devices, robotics, drones, and other high-performance sectors.
