US markets tumbled again on Tuesday

US markets tumbled again on Tuesday after US President Donald Trump backtracked on his previous comments as well as those of Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent that many trade deals would be signed soon. 
 
US markets also fell again on the dips in the stock prices of Tesla, Nvidia and Meta Platforms, while investors awaited the outcome of Wednesday's Fed meeting. 
 
European markets also closed lower as investors  monitored   corporate  earnings  reports and the political  developments in Germany, which resulted in the election of  Friedrich Mertz as Chancellor. 
 
Asia–Pacific markets closed mixed, while investors assessed trade developments between the USA and China, as well as other Asian countries.
