122 new COVID cases recorded

The surge in COVID-19 cases in Jamaica continues with 122 infections reported within the last 24 hours.
 
This has pushed the country's case count to 4,164.
 
Most of the new cases were recorded in Kingston and St. Andrew, St. Catherine and Manchester.
 
The ages range from 11 months to 88 years.
 
The Health Ministry said eight persons remain critically ill from COVID-19.
 
There are 2,858 active cases. 
 
Recoveries now stand at 1,180.
