Ambulance driver charged for attempted murder of nurse

Investigators have charged a 41-year-old ambulance driver for the attempted murder of a registered nurse in Spanish Town, St. Catherine.
Keron Chambers, a resident of Ensom City, Spanish Town, has been charged with attempted murder and wounding with intent.
Investigators reported that the nurse was attacked and seriously injured while on duty at the Spanish Town Infirmary on March 29.
It was reported that Mr. Chambers went to the infirmary and accused the nurse of being unfaithful.
He allegedly threw gasoline on the nurse and attempted to set her on fire.
He then used a sharp object to stab her in the chest and other parts of her body.
Mr. Chambers was arrested on the compound of the infirmary.
The nurse was hospitalised.
