American pleads guilty for helping Jamaican, two others illegally cross US border

An American man accused of picking up a Jamaican and two other individuals suspected of crossing illegally into Montana from Canada in January, has admitted to an immigration crime.
 
According to the US Attorney's Office for Montana, 39-year-old Rastesfaye Neil pleaded guilty on Wednesday to transportation of  illegal aliens. 
 
Neil faces a maximum five years in prison, a $250,000 fine and three years of  supervised release.
 
He will be sentenced on September 2.
 
The Jamaican involved in the case, 41-year-old Christopher White, was recently jailed on an immigration charge.
 
He will be sentenced on August 12.
 
As it relates to his two co-accused, one is awaiting extradition to Canada while the other man is a fugitive.
