Curfew imposed in sections of St. Catherine

A curfew has been imposed in sections of the St. Catherine North police division.

The curfew began at 6 o'clock Monday evening  and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m., Wednesday.

The boundaries incorporate sections of Valdez Road, Lawrence Drive and Old Harbour Road.

The woman has been identified as 52 year-old dressmaker Andrea Young.

Senior Superintendent of Police Stephanie Lindsay, head of  the Jamaica Constabulary Force's Corporate Communications Unit, told Radio Jamaica News that the incident was linked to gang conflict.

Three persons of interest, who go by the aliases Blacks, Quan and Tiny Boy, have been asked to report to the Spanish Town Police Station for questioning.
