The St. Catherine police are probing the circumstances which led to the death of a senior auditor employed to the Auditor General's Department.
Victor Dave Fisher, 50, was found dead at his home in the Roseneath Housing Scheme in Marlie Acres, St. Catherine, on Thursday night.
It is suspected that he took his own life.
The police say Mr. Fisher's brother went to the home about 9 p.m., after failing to make contact with his sibling.
Mr. Fisher reportedly left a suicide note.
