RJR News has been informed that there is a major fire at the Westwood High School in Stewart Town, Trelawny in Western Jamaica.
The fire is raging in the kitchen, dining room and a storeroom at one of the country's oldest boarding schools.
The boarding facilities at the all girls school are not threatened by the fire.
Three fire units from St. Ann and Trelawny are battling the blaze.
