Five year old Mickele Allen, the boy who was attacked by dogs, in St. Dacre, St. Ann on November 15, arrived in New York last night after being flown out of Jamaica in an emergency mission.
Accompanied by his mother. Mickele who was admitted to the Montefiore Hospital in Manhattan is scheduled to undergo the first of several surgeries this morning.
Sources say the next few days are critical and Mickele faces a challenging few months ahead.
He is expected to undergo more surgeries in coming weeks.
The good Samaritans organising this effort say there is the bigger job of rebuilding his life.
