A 20-year-old Jamaican man, who was being sought for murder, was arrested on Sunday at Fort Lauderdale International Airport in Florida in the US as he attempted to board a flight to Jamaica.
Brandon Swaby was arrested by US Border and Customs Protection agents.
Mr. Swaby is being held in a jail in Broward County until his transfer to Nashville, Tennessee, where the crime took place.
He is accused of fatally shooting 22-year-old Christopher McCabe during a dispute last Tuesday near the entrance of Nashville International Airport.
