A team from the Ministry of Education is expected to visit Challenge Basic School in Montego Bay, St. James on Thursday, following a shooting on the compound Tuesday.
The school remained closed on Wednesday in the wake of the shooting.
The principal said students and teachers remain traumatised.
The shooting took place while parents were collecting their children.
The injured man is said to be the parent of a student at the school.
