Pembroke Hall High student threatened by teacher removed from the school

The Pembroke Hall High School student who was threatened with physical violence by his teacher has been removed from the school by his parents.

The threats were captured on video which was widely circulated on social media last month.

Anthony Williams, vice-chairman of the school board, told RJR News that he was informed of  the development by administrators at the institution.

He said the school had nothing to do with the decision.

After the video went viral the teacher applied for leave.

She is scheduled to face a disciplinary panel on December 30.
