The police are probing the death of an elderly woman in Great Pond, Ocho Rios, St. Ann.
She is 74-year-old Elise Joyce Russell.
Sometime around 7:30 Monday morning residents discovered the body of the woman in the front of a yard along the Great Pond main road and called the police.
The police say on their arrival, body was discovered laying on its side.
There was dried blood on the senior citizen's nose and what appeared to be a haematoma or lump on her forehead.
