Reggae artiste Anna Blake, better known as Sevana, pleaded guilty on Monday to the charge of causing death by dangerous driving when she appeared in the Westmoreland Circuit Court.
Sevanna was charged following a fatal crash in May last year.
It was reported that she was driving her motorcar along the Scott's Cove roadway in Whitehouse when she her car collided with another vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.
Oria Cordiel, a passenger in the other vehicle, and Sevanna's brother, who was traveling with her, both sustained injuries and were transported to Black River Hospital where Miss Cordiel later succumbed to her injuries.
Sevanna had her bail extended to November 17 when she will be sentenced.
