After several days of continuous searching, the police are yet to find missing St. Ann teacher, 34-year-old Ruchelle Williams.

Senior Superintendent Dwight Powell, head of the St. Ann Police, says the search has been expanded.

Miss Williams, a teacher at Marcus Garvey Technical High School, disappeared on September 15.

She left home without her personal belongings.

SSP Powell told Radio Jamaica News the police have investigated all leads so far, with nothing bringing them closer to the teacher's whereabouts.

He said police across the country have also "been looking out to see whether or not they can assist us in locating her."

"We are doing everything that is at our disposal right now in terms of the searches," he explained.

As it relates to the search for a 14-year-old Marcus Garvey Technical High student who was also reported missing, SSP Powell said that search is also still ongoing.

The teen has communicated with family members since being reported missing, however, her location is still unknown.

According to SSP Powell, the police are reaching out to its "internal counterparts to find a location on the phone she's using."
