A second person has died following the deadly two-vehicle collision along the Font Hill main road in St. Elizabeth on September 22.
Taxi operator Hector Munroe, of Catterwood district in the parish, died of his injuries on Monday, four days after the fatal crash.
The driver of the Mitsubishi truck which collided head on with Munroe's taxi, Caleb Ekow Amphia Davis, a US resident, will be charged for two counts of causing death by careless driving and failing to keep left.
Mr. Davis was offered bail on Monday in the sum of $300,000 with surety, during his first court appearance.
He is scheduled to return to court on November 23.
As a condition of his bail he is to reside in Kingston and report to the Matilda's Corner police.
He was also ordered to surrender his travel documents and a stop order was placed at the ports of exit.
Daniellie Blake, a 31-year-old teacher at Savanna-la-Mar Primary School also died in the crash.
