Spalding High to be renamed in honour of former principal Alphansus Davis

Spalding High School in Clarendon is to be renamed in honour of former principal Alphansus Davis.
 
Prime Minister Andrew Holness made the announcement on Thursday following a request from Richard Azan, Member of Parlimament for Clarendon North Western. 
 
Mr. Holness urged Mr. Azan to, "just as a formality," write to the Minister of Education to make the recommendation official. 
 
Mr. Davis was principal of Spalding High for 28 years.
 
He is also a former advisor to Mr. Holness.
