A St. James businessman who was featured on the Jamaica Constabulary Force's Wanted Wednesday's for fraud related offences has been arrested and charged.

Dominic Shaw, of Unity Hall in Montego Bay, has been charged with two counts of obtaining money by false pretence.

Mr. Shaw, 38, is accused of collecting $810,840 from the complainant on May 24 last year.

It's reported that Mr. Shaw, while posing as a booking agent, solicited the money from the complainant to book reservations for two all-inclusive resorts.

But he used the money for his own benefit and was not able to return it.

He was arrested and charged based on the complainant's statement and a question and answer session.
