A 16-year-old boy from St. James has been charged with the December 29, 2017 murder of Lascelles Warlock, a 53-year-old farmer of Pisgah in St. Elizabeth.
He was charged on Thursday after being pointed out during an identification parade.
Arrangements are being for his first court appearance.
He was arrested on January 29 following a shootout involving gunmen and the police in Kilmarnock, St. Elizabeth.
A man was fatally shot and a loaded Uzi submachine gun seized.
It was reported that Warlock was driving a bus along the Cambridge main road when he was signaled to stop by a man who robbed him and his passengers.
The man then shot Warlock several times.
The passengers were not injured.
