The St. Elizabeth Police have charged two boys with rape and aiding and abetting rape of a 12-year-old girl in the parish two years ago.
The incident allegedly occurred at Crooks Bottom in Elderslie on January 1, 2021.
It's reported that the child went to the home of her neighbour to access internet services.
While she was at the house, one of the boys, now 17 years old, allegedly held onto her, while his now 16-year-old cousin sexually assaulted her.
The incident was reported to the Maggotty Police. Following investigations, the boys were taken into custody on Thursday and charged.
Radio Jamaica News was informed that the girl was impregnated and gave birth.
