The men were taken to court on Monday following their arrest on the weekend.

It's reported that on Saturday, the three Jamaicans were spotted in a canoe and after a chase, the Cayman Islands Coast Guard seized more than 500 pounds of ganja.

The three Jamaicans, aged 35, 42 and 57, were arrested on suspicion of importation of ganja.

The police conducted searches along the nearby shoreline and discovered a fourth man, of West Bay, with several fuel drums.

He was arrested on suspicion of being concerned with the importation of ganja.

They were all subsequently charged with being concerned with the importation of ganja.
