Two constituencies dip below required number of electors

The Constituency Boundaries Committee of Parliament has identified two constituencies that have fallen below the lower limit for the number of electors. 
    
The seven-member Committee, in its report tabled in the House of  Representatives on Tuesday, said it reviewed the last published list of  constituencies in May this year.
    
The average number of  electors per constituency is 27,597, the upper limit being 41,396 and the lower limit 18,398.
    
St. Andrew North Eastern, represented by Delroy Chuck, with 18, 299 electors and Trelawny Southern, represented by Marisa Dalrymple Philibert, with 18,370 fell below the lower limit.
    
The Michael Peart chaired Committee recommended that the matter be referred to the Electoral Commission of Jamaica.
