Tragedy struck on Monday at Moneague College in St Ann when two workers employed by a cesspool company died while cleaning a septic tank.
A third employee was taken to St Ann's Bay Hospital in serious condition.
Principal of Moneague College Howard Isaacs told our correspondent that the incident took place about 3 o'clock in the afternoon.
One of the workmen in the tank encountered difficulties and others went to assist when the tragedy occurred.
A team comprising the police, soldiers and fire personnel helped to remove the men from the tank.
A probe is being carried out by the Jamaica Constabulary Force.
