The killed by the police during a shoot out in Allman Town in Kingston on Friday morning has been identified as Shamar Salmon, otherwise called "Pretty Pants", a reputed member of the One Order gang in Spanish Town.
Mr. Salmon is one of the prime suspects in the robbery and killing of three China Harbour Engineering Company employees and a bystander on Sunday in Bog Walk, St Catherine.
The Flying Squad led the Allman Town operation, during which a gun was reportedly recovered.
Two other suspects are being sought by the police in relation to Sunday's incident.
The St. Catherine Major Investigation Task Force, is questioning a man who is also considered a suspect in the robbery. He has been undergoing questioning since Tuesday.
Police sources have also revealed that the money they recovered from the vehicle in which the three men were killed, amounts to roughly $450,000. They found another $30,000 in bushes near the scene of the shooting.
