There was chaos on Monday morning at Meadowbrook High School in St. Andrew, reportedly after students were locked out because of their late arrival for classes.
RJR News was informed that the gates to the school were locked and a large number of students were left outside.
Tensions rose when it was observed that some parents were able to drive onto the compound and drop off other students who were equally late.
Reports are that some students attempted to walk onto the compound when the gates were opened for vehicles to enter and it is reported that one such student was pushed by a teacher when he attempted to enter the compound.
This caused the crowd outside the gates to become rowdy.
Reports are that the police were called to the school compound.
