Chris Gayle makes return for St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots in new '6ixty' tournament

Having not played since the T20 World Cup in November, Jamaica's Chris Gayle will make his long-awaited return to cricket with the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots for the inaugural staging of the '6ixty' next month.

Gayle, who did not make himself available for the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) draft, will play alongside exciting opener Evin Lewis and all-rounder Dwayne Bravo.

The squads for the August 24-28 competition were confirmed on Thursday, as the six teams will use the competition as a warm-up for the CPL which runs from August 31 to September 30.

The first edition of the 6ixty will see men's and women's teams compete in a new 60-ball tournament.
