Harbour View and MBU maintain unbeaten start to JPL season

Defending champions Harbour View and Montego Bay United preserved their unbeaten start to the Jamaica Premier following the latest round of matches on Sunday.

Harbour View remained top of the table moving to 10 points after a 1-0 win over Humble Lion at Effortville. Nicholas Hamilton got the game decider for Harbour View in the 31st minute.

Montego Bay United also moved to 10 points after a stoppage time winner over the previously unbeaten Arnett Gardens at the Montego Bay Sports Complex.

With the game locked at 1-1 and heading for a draw, Nevaun Turner scored the winner for Montego Bay United in the 4th minute of stoppage time.

Elsewhere, Rashawn Livingston scored an 83rd minute winner to give Molynes United a 1-0 win over Vere United, while the promoted Faulkland got their first ever Premier League point after earning a 2-2 draw with Tivoli Gardens.

In the late game at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex, Dunbeholden were leading Cavalier 1-0.
