The governing body of World Cricket, the International Cricket Council (ICC) remains hopeful that the men's T20 World Cup will be played in October as planned despite the spread of the coronavirus outbreak globally. The tournament is set to run from October 18 to November 15 in Australia.
Tickets have been on sale since last year. The West Indies are the defending champions. The Caribbean side is in Group 1 of the tournament alongside Pakistan, New Zealand and host nation Australia. The West Indies' first game of the tournament is on October 25 against New Zealand.
