The police have launched a manhunt for a group of men who broke into a Western Union outlet in Rock Hall, St. Andrew.
The thieves reportedly made off with nearly $5 million.
It's reported that the robbers broke into the outlet sometime Sunday night or early Monday morning.
They gained entry by breaking the glass door at the entrance.
The outlet is located on the same property as a gas station.
Deputy Superintendent Randy Sweeney, head of the St. Andrew North Police, confirmed the incident.
The St. Andrew North Police Division is experiencing a 200% increase in break-ins.
Since the start of the year, 75 incidents have been reported to the police compared with 25 for the corresponding period last year.
As of July 12, there were 50 more break-ins than for the similar period last year.
