Samuel Ricketts and Katherine Wynter were crowned men's and women's singles champions at the All Jamaica Open Badminton Championship at the GC Foster College Auditorium on Sunday.
The number 2 seeded Ricketts, who was fighting off jetlag throughout the tournament, dethroned 2019 winner Matthew Lee 21-15, 21-13 in the final.
Ricketts who is now based in England, flew into the island recently to play in the tournament.
Wynter had little problems in staving off the challenge of Breanna Bisnott to win the women's title 21-15, 21-9.
Elsewhere, Matthew Lee and Joel Angus took the men's doubles title, defeating Albert Myles and Garron Palmer 2-0, while Wynter teamed up with Bisnott to take the women's equivalent also by a 2-0 margin.
Wynter got her third title of the day as she teamed up with Lee to take the mixed doubles title over Bisnott and Palmer in straight sets.
