The West Indies Under-19 women's team ended their participation at the World Cup in South Africa on Wednesday, following a humbling 95 run defeat to England in their Super 6 clash at Potchefstroom in South Africa.
England piled up 179-4 from their 20 overs, thanks to 56 from Grace Scrivens, 29 from Charis Pavely and 28 from Seren Smale.
The Windies also bowled 23 extras. Ashmini Munisar claimed 2-32.
In their chase, the West Indians laboured to 84-8 with Djeneba Joseph 44 and Asabi Callender 17, being the only battters to get into double figures.
Joseph hit six fours in the innings that saw the Windies reeling at 23-4 after 7 overs.
The Caribbean side won only two of their five matches.
