The road tour, which started on Friday, will see the performers, which include a mass choir, try to out-shine and out-sing each other at six stops in six parishes across the island throughout the month of June.

All the road shows begin at 5:00 p.m. and are free and open to the public.

Friday's stop will be at Sam Sharpe Square, Montego Bay with special guest artiste Romain Virgo.

Culture Minister Olivia Babsy Grange and Mayor of Montego Bay Homer Davis will also be in attendance.

On Saturday, the contestants travel to Mandeville Town Square, Manchester. The special guest artiste will be Etana.
