R&B icons Brandy and Monica on Monday night broke Instagram streaming records in the latest edition of the Verzuz music series.
The musical showdown drew a whopping 1.2 million viewers on the official Verzuz page, plus hundreds of thousands more on various YouTube streaming channels.
The musical clash has been one of the most requested and anticipated battles since the inception of the series.
The women played hits from their extensive catalogues including Have You Ever, Top of The World and Full Moon by Brandy as well as Angel of Mine, Should've Known Better and So Gone from Monica.
Brandy also played her latest single Borderline from her just released album B7, while Monica premiered Trenches featuring rapper Da Baby.
The event trended on social media site twitter the entire night.
