The Jamaica Gleaner is set to host a Road Show on Friday as part of its celebration of 185 years of service to Jamaica.
It is to be held at The St. William Grant Park, downtown Kingston, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The entertainment package includes performances by the 2019 Rising Stars top three finalists; the first and third-place winners of the 2019 JCDC Festival Song Competition – Raldene Dyer and Jay Smith – along with dancing, prizes and lots of giveaways.
The early-morning segment of the road show will feature music by DJ Whizkid, while the afternoon segment will feature outside broadcasts on Hitz 92 FM with Jenny Jenny and on Power 106 FM with Dervan Malcolm.
Readers can also look out for a special anniversary supplement and front-page wrap of The Gleaner on Friday.
