Jamaican Gevanni Hutton reaches top four in The Voice UK

Gevanni Hutton is the latest Jamaican singing sensation to leave his mark on the international stage. 
 
The 18-year-old has secured a spot in the final four of singing competition The Voice UK.
 
Hutton stole the hearts of the viewers with his rendition of the 1969 Jimmy Cliff classic Many Rivers to Cross.  
 
The young singer who hails from Cypress Hall, Red Hills, St. Andrew, moved to London from in 2018 to live with his father. 
 
The competition returned after a seven-month hiatus for its long-awaited semi-finals that was originally slated for March 28, but was postponed as the COVID-19 pandemic halted the world.
 
Gevanni joins songstress Tessanne Chin, who won Season 5 of NBC's The Voice in the US, and Dalton Harris, who won the UK XFactor, as Jamaican singers who have stolen hearts with their talent.
