Twice convicted R&B singer R. Kelly has been ordered to pay at least $300,000 in restitution to some of his victims.
U.S. District Judge Ann Donnelly yesterday ruled that Kelly compensate two women, known as Jane and Stephanie, for the costs of therapy and herpes treatment.
The figure is likely to rise after prosecutors recalculate the cost of medication for Stephanie.
Donnelly, however, denied prosecutors' requests to compensate Jane for lost income, and a third victim, known as Sonja, was also denied overall compensation.
The 55-year-old, born Robert Sylvester Kelly, was convicted in New York and Chicago and is also facing various state charges in Illinois and Minnesota.
