Rapper Black Rob dies at 51

The Hip Hop community lost another member over the weekend with the death of Former Bad Boy Records artiste Black Rob.
 
Label founder Diddy led the online tributes to the Buffalo, NY rapper who died from kidney failure at age 51.
 
Following the death of DMX a week earlier, a video surfaced of Rob in a hospital bed, sharing his love and respect for his fellow hip-hop star.
 
Black Rob's relationship with Bad Boy Records started in the mid '90s where he appeared on a number of songs alongside Diddy and Mase before delivering his debut studio album with the label in 2000.
 
Born Robert Ross, he was also responsible for popularizing the Harlem Shake dance, while his debut album Life Story went platinum, mainly from his chart-topping hit Whoa!.
