Reggae Sunsplash 2020 being staged virtually

The return of Reggae Sunsplash 2020 has been transformed into a virtual staging this year.

The event which has been halted for 14 years, was slated to make a comeback at Grizzly's Plantation in St Ann, however the coronavirus pandemic has shelved the plan.

The revamped show is now set to run November 27 and 28, with organizers preparing to announce the line up in coming days.

The Virtual Reggae Sunsplash will be streamed on YouTube  as well as Facebook and Instagram.

The festival was birthed in 1978 as a means of building summer tourism in Jamaica.
