Stacious performing her winning song, 'Jamaican Spirit', on Thursday night
Dancehall deejay Stacious was on Thursday night crowned the 2021 Jamaica Festival Song winner with her entry Jamaican Spirit.
She is the fourth woman to win the competition since its inception in 1966.
The artiste, whose given name is Stacey Scarlett Bryan, defeated eleven other contestants to claim the $3 million grand prize.
Second place went to DB, born Kevaughn Scott, with his entry Love Jamaica My Land.
He was also awarded the night's best performance and took home a cash prize of $500,000 plus a trophy.
Dwight Allen, who goes by the stage name Tamo J, placed third with his entry Real Talk.
The competition's grand finale was broadcast live on Television Jamaica.
