The Real has is the latest daytime talk show casualty, following its cancellation after eight seasons.
Co-host Loni Love stated on Instagram that the cast and crew did everything they could to scale the show down and she believes COVID-19 costs killed the show.
The Real is Warners/Telepictures' third longest-running daytime syndicated panel talk show, and earned three Daytime Emmys and two NAACP Image Awards during its run.
Daytime staples The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Wendy Williams Show, The Nick Cannon Show, Dr. Oz and its successor The Good Dish, Jerry Springer's Judge Jerry, Maury, The Doctors and DailyMail TV are all ending this season.
