The 2002 Washington D.C. sniper murders have again resurfaced in the form of a documentary series.
The eight-episode series tiled "I, Sniper" released its first episode this week on Vice TV.
The documentary features dozens of interviews from relatives of the snipers and their victims, law enforcement and everyday people who encountered the shooters.
Jamaican-born Lee Boyd Malvo, who was part of the two member sniper team, was also interviewed for the project.
The filmmakers reportedly coaxed Malvo to examine his life over 17 hours of calls that spanned two years — all in 15-minute intervals as per prison rules.
Malvo, who was 17 at the time, and 41-year-old John Muhammad, went on a crime spree, killing 10 people and terrorizing the Washington area in 2002.
Muhammad was executed in November 2009 while Malvo is still serving a life sentence in southwestern Virginia.
