The Digicel Group is reporting an eleven percent rise in sales, with revenues increasing to US $1.38 billion in the six months to the end of September.
Earnings were up 10 percent at $577 million.
A report in Thursday's issue of Ireland's Independent newspaper says the latest growth in revenues was driven by a 17 percent increase in subscriber numbers, which now stand at 12.9 million.
Haiti, Papua New Guinea, Trinidad and Tobago and Suriname were named as seeing particularly strong revenue growth.
Digicel says value added services like web browsing and messaging now account for 21 percent of overall revenues thanks to a roll out of new 4G networks and increasing use of smartphones.
The mobile phone company has customers in 30 countries across the Caribbean, Pacific and South America.
Eleven-year-old Digicel has grown rapidly since it was founded to provide mobile phone services initially in Caribbean markets that had historically been under served by both fixed line and mobile providers.
