Jamaica could receive an additional 17,000 visitors annually with the decision by British Airways to increase the number of flights to the island.
Effective March 30, British Airways will add a fourth flight.
It will fly from London, Gatwick to Kingston on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday weekly.
Dr. Wykeham McNeil, Tourism Minister says between January and November last year, there were 34,000 British Airways passengers out of London.
He's forecasting that the additional 334 seats per week could potentially give Jamaica a further 17,368 visitors annually.
