Cable & Wireless Communication (CWC), the parent company of LIME, announced on Tuesday that the deal to acquire Columbus Communications (parent of Flow) had been finalised.
Phil Bentley, CEO of Cable & Wireless, in announcing the deal, said the company is now undertaking a full review of all its brands including, LIME and Flow.
But he said no decision has yet been made.
The deal, which was announced in November last year, will now see the merger of Columbus Communications, which operates as Flow, with LIME.
Completing the acquisition required approvals from regulators in Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados and Antigua-Barbuda.
Only Jamaica and Antigua-Barbuda have given full approval, while Trinidad & Tobago and Barbados have given the companies conditional approvals.
Having received the required approvals, Cable & Wireless has confirmed that it will now implement its US$1.5 billion investment across the region.
