Digicel Jamaica is to become a credit information provider, in keeping with the Credit Reporting Act.
Digicel has issued a notice stating that, effective May 7, it will provide credit information on its customers.
Under the Credit Reporting Act, only entities licensed under the legislation can offer credit bureau services, and credit information can only be sourced and used from specified providers.
