Elite Diagnostic Limited is reporting a dip in profit for the financial year ended June 30, citing the impact of Hurricane Melissa and downtime from an MRI equipment upgrade at its Drax Hall location.
The diagnostic imaging company posted a net profit of $27.6-million, down from $32 million the previous year.
Despite that, revenue grew, coming in at $867.3-million, a 1.6% increase.
The company's Board says, while the results came in below expectations, profitability was maintained through tighter expense management and operational adjustments.
